3 Must Visit Places in Barcelona:
It is officially travel season! In case you are planning a visit to Barcelona, here are 3 places to visit. This list is not organized in any particular order; I love these three spots equally and make sure to visit them EVERY time I’m in Barcelona.
1. Pastelería Hofmann for their mascarpone croissant in El Born neighborhood. Please ignore the older price in the photo.
La Cova Fumada in Barceloneta neighborhood. I honestly love the whole menu! It is the perfect spot for lunch! I always order the chickpeas with squid, grilled sardines, and bombas. This spot has weird hours so make sure to check the hours before visiting and it can be a little hard to find so look for the doors you see in the second photo.
Bodega Montferry in Sants neighborhood for the best bocadillos, tapas, and vermut! It is the perfect place to drink vermouth (vermut in Catalan) and snack on delicious Catalan food. I love this place because of the delicious food, traditional vermuteo vibe, and the fact that it is in one of the least touristy neighborhoods in Barcelona. A famous food writer refused to share the name of this bodega worrying it would become “too” popular. My philosophy is to support business and make sure they survive. Consider this hidden gem my gift to you!
