The fish recipe from Mariupol made me happy and sad. I had planned a tour of the South East of Ukraine just six months before the Moscow fascists invaded, such a lovely looking city... I'll make this at the weekend and drink a glass of wine to yourself and my friends in Ukraine. Support for Ukraine across the UK, across political lines, is still very strong.
Thank you so much, Martin. Thank you first and foremost for supporting Ukraine. Mariupol was and one day will be again a beautiful and lively port city. I miss it so terribly much each and single day. There is so much to mourn it's heartbreaking.
I will be sharing a lot more regional dishes from Mariupol, the nearby villages, the Pryazovia Crimean Greek communities and really all across the Donetsk Oblast. I have so many recipes in my recipe database, I just need to raise more funds to be able to invest more time and money into photographing, developing, and sharing these Ukrainian recipes.
