Thank you, Olga, for this insight into agricultural history of California! I live 40 min away from Riverside. Next time I am in the Riverside area, I’ll certainly find the historical tree.

Thank you for this information! We just dropped my son off for college in Southern California, and I was curious about the history of orange trees in the area. I knew citrus had a rich history there, but was fuzzy on the details, so thank you for the investigation!
