A brutal read. Does a brilliant job of transporting someone who (mercifully) doesn't suffer with depression into the experience. Thank you for sharing. Sending love from Bulgaria.

Ugh. Yes. Struggling too here. That tightness, hear pounding, breathing heavily, but needing to concentrate on taking a breath because I feel like I am suffocating... the faking it socially for a few hours, then having to sleep for a couple days to recover.

I am so sorry, Cary! I set an alarm to remind me to go outside to stand in the sun or look up at the sky. I also do the 54321 technique which helps me manage the anxiety flares ups and breathing. It is my go to method bc of how simple and effective. Like super simple and easy to remember. You ask yourself to identify 5 things I can see, 4 things I can touch/feel, 3 things I can hear, 2 things I can smell, and 1 thing I can taste. Here if you need anything!

Dread comes to mind. When in an episode was there a trigger, something a person may feel forced to confront? All things do pass it's pragmatic living however maybe there's something that is foreboding or something that you are dreading and that needs to be looked at, talked about but within boundaries and on your own terms in your own space and time.
